In a thrilling encounter at the Stadio Olimpico, Como battled to a hard-fought 1-1 draw against Lazio in the first match of 2025, marking a crucial point in their Serie A Enilive campaign. Despite some early pressure from the home side, the LarianI showed resilience and character, holding firm to secure a valuable point on the road.

Jean Butez, the French goalkeeper who joined Como 1907 just three days ago, made his debut in the starting lineup with the BiancoBlu shirt, and at the 20th minute, Diao, 19-year-old winger joining from Real Betis, also made his debut.

In the second half, the Lariani equalized with a goal from Como-born striker Patrick Cutrone, who scored his sixth goal of the season following an assist from Gabriel Strefezza.

Following the injury occurred during the Lazio - Como match to Nico Paz, the player underwent an MRI which has ruled out bone or muscle injury.

Over the coming days Nico will undergo further medical examinations with the team at Como monitoring him closely.

Como 1907 hosted Atalanta today at the Sinigaglia.

In the first half, Argentine talent Nico Paz netted his fourth consecutive home goal and fifth of the season, capitalising on an assist from Gambian Alieu Fadera. It was also a special moment for Lucas Da Cunha, the 23-year-old French midfielder, who recently renewed his contract with the club and donned the Lariani captain's armband for the first time.  

In the second half, Atalanta turned the game around with a brace from Retegui, while Como had a goal from Patrick Cutrone disallowed. The match ended 2-1 in favour of the visitors.

AlUla Club and Como 1907 Sign Strategic Partnership Agreement to Enhance International Sports Cooperation

AlUla Sports Club and Como 1907 have officially signed a strategic partnership agreement marking a significant step toward strengthening both club’s presence on the international sports stage.

The agreement was signed in AlUla, where AlUla Club was represented by CEO Waleed Abdulrazzaq Muath, while Como 1907 was represented by its President, Mirwan Suwarso.

This strategic collaboration focuses on several key pillars including technical and commercial knowledge exchange and development as well as joint events.

Waleed Muath affirmed that this partnership aligns with AlUla’s broader vision to elevate its sports operation and reinforce the city’s standing as a global destination for sports and tourism, in support of the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.

Como 1907 President Mirwan Suwarso expressed his enthusiasm for the agreement, noting that it represents a meaningful opportunity for collaboration between both clubs.

The agreement further aims to accelerate mutual commercial growth and launch unified marketing initiatives that serve both entities.
